Ekaterina Antropova, born in 2003, played for Volley Academy Sassuolo B, Green Warriors Sassuolo, and Savino Del Bene Scandicci throughout her career. A standout opposite hitter with significant experience in Italian and European volleyball, she will compete for Eczacıbaşı Dynavit in the upcoming season.
Antropova made her breakthrough with Savino Del Bene Scandicci, winning both the CEV Challenge Cup and CEV Cup, while earning MVP honors in both competitions. At the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship, she was named both Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Best Opposite Spiker.
With the Italian National Team, she won the 2024 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) title and was a member of the squad that competed at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Renowned for her scoring ability in crucial moments, Antropova also played a key role in Italy’s gold-medal-winning campaign at the 2025 FIVB Women’s World Championship.
