Mayu Ishikawa, a 2000-born outside hitter and one of the leading figures of Japanese volleyball, has played for Toray Arrows, Il Bisonte Firenze, and Igor Gorgonzola Novara throughout her career.
During her club career, Ishikawa achieved notable success in the Japanese League, Empress’ Cup, Kurowashiki Tournament, and the CEV Cup. Bringing valuable experience from both the Japanese and Italian leagues, she has joined the Eczacıbaşı Dynavit roster.
Representing the Japan National Team, Ishikawa has competed in major international tournaments including the Volleyball Nations League (VNL), FIVB World Championship, and the Olympic Games. She has become one of her team’s key players thanks to her ball control, defensive discipline, and quick attacking combinations. During the Paris 2024 Olympic Games campaign, she was widely regarded as one of Japan’s standout performers.
