CEV Champions League Match Followed Closely by Serbian Representatives

Tigers played first match in the 2024 CEV Champions League on November 6th, 2024, against Serbian representatives Tent Obrenovac. The match was closely followed by several prominent figures from both the volleyball and political communities. Among the attendees were CEV Vice President Ivan Knežević and his wife Jovana Knežević, Serbian Government member and Minister responsible for Gender Equality, Prevention of Gender-Based Violence, and Economic and Political Empowerment of Women, Tatjana Macura, Serbian Volleyball Federation Vice President, and legendary player Vesna Čitaković Djurišić, who played for our club between 2006-2009.

After the match, our outside hitter, Alexa Gray, was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match, and her award was presented by CEV Vice President Ivan Knežević.
