Starting the week victoriously

22 September 2020

Having played with Sarıyer in the fourth week of the Turkish League, Tigers have scored a solid 3-0 win.

Despite that Sarıyer scored three consecutive points at the beginning of the match, the Oranges and Whites came out stronger until the technical timeout that we led by 12-10. In the first set which we won by 25-15, Hande Baladın and Chiaka Ogbogu made a remarkable contribution as they scored 6 and 5 points, respectively.

The team kept their control over the game with our young libero Melisa Memiş doing a good job in defense. The second set finished 25-17 in our favor.

The third set was narrow at the beginning. However, Tigers kept showing a consistent performance as they did in the previous sets and managed to finish the game by 3-0.

Hande Baladın, Chiaka Ogbogu and Melis Durul have an important share in today's win by scoring 16, 11 and 9 points, respectively.

In the fifth week of the Turkish League, we will play an away match with Nilüfer in Bursa this Saturday, September 26.
