Eczacıbaşı Dynavit Did Not Allow Vero Volley Milano to Get Through

Eczacıbaşı Dynavit hosted Italy’s Vero Volley Milano in the CEV Zeren Group Champions League Group C match. The orange-and-white team defeated their opponent 3–2 with set scores of 25–21, 20–25, 22–25, 25–22, and 15–13.

The match began with Yaprak’s serve, and Eczacıbaşı Dynavit took control in the opening phase. With strong contributions from their middle blockers, the orange-and-white side did not allow the opponent to take the lead and won the first set 25–21 to go up 1–0.

The second set started with high intensity and remained balanced in the early stages. From the middle of the set onward, the visiting team took control. Reflecting their superiority on the scoreboard, the guests won the set 25–20 to level the match.

The third set began with points traded evenly, and the balance continued throughout. Although Eczacıbaşı Dynavit briefly gained an advantage in the middle of the set with well-organized offense and defense, their effort was not enough, and they lost the set 25–22.

In the opening phase of the fourth set, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit displayed an effective performance and extended the gap with consecutive points. Refusing to give up until the final moment, the home team won the set 25–22 and pushed the match to a deciding tie-break.

The tie-break started with the visiting team’s advantage, but after the court switch, the orange-and-white side managed to take the lead. Although the guests equalized toward the end of the set, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit did not allow any further momentum and won the set 15–13, claiming a hard-fought 3–2 victory at home.

At the end of the match, Sinead Jack-Kısal was named Most Valuable Player. She was the top scorer for the orange-and-white team with 21 points. Eczacıbaşı Dynavit players recorded a total of 11 blocks and 5 service aces.
