Tigers started the match with a point from Yaprak Erkek’s attack, but VakıfBank quickly took the lead in the early stages of the set. The orange and white side struggled to establish effective organization and lost the first set 25–18.
In the second set, Tigers initially took the lead while the visitors chased the score. However, midway through the set, VakıfBank regained control and moved ahead, making it 2–0 in sets.
The third set also began with VakıfBank in control. Tigers managed to level the score midway through the set and showed improved organization in both offense and defense. With key contributions from Maglio and Yaprak, the team tried to stay in the match, but their efforts were not enough. Tigers lost the set 25–20, and the match 3–0.
The second play-off match in the Vodafone Sultanlar League will be played on April 2, 2026 at VakıfBank Volleyball Hall.

After finishing the Vodafone Sultanlar League regular season in fourth place, Tigers are set to take the court in the 3rd place play-off series. The orange and white side will host Zeren Spor in the first match and will play the second leg away on April 11. Tigers aim to take control of the series early and secure a crucial win.
