Tigers faced Zeren Spor at home in the Vodafone Sultanlar League Play-Off 3rd Place Series – Game 1. The orange and white side secured a 3–1 victory with set scores of 25–10, 27–29, 25–21 and 25–19, gaining an important advantage in the series.
Tigers started the match strongly, quickly building a 10-point lead in the first set. With an effective defensive setup, the team produced 6 block points. Maintaining full control throughout the set, Tigers did not allow their opponent any chances and won the set 25–10, taking a 1–0 lead.
The second set began with Zeren Spor in control. Tigers managed to level the score with Dilay’s ace, and the set continued with intense rallies. Despite saving two set points, Tigers fell short and lost the set 29–27.
Tigers opened the third set with a strong 5–0 run. Although Zeren Spor managed to close the gap midway through the set, Tigers extended the lead again to four points with Boden’s effective attacks. The home side secured the set 25–21, taking a 2–1 lead.
Stysiak stood out with 8 points in this set.
The fourth set started evenly, with both teams exchanging points. Midway through the set, Tigers built a four-point advantage and maintained their control to win the set 25–19, closing out the match 3–1.
