Starting the season strongly together with their supporters, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit hosted Aksaray-based Kuzeyboru in the opening week of the Vodafone Sultanlar League and defeated their opponent 3–0 with scores of 25–15, 25–14, and 25–18.
The symbolic coin toss of the match was conducted by legendary libero Gülden Kayalar Kuzubaşıoğlu, who wore the Eczacıbaşı jersey between 2003 and 2017. During set breaks, fans performed entertaining choreographies together with the team’s mascot, Tiger.
The match began with a spike point from Ebrar Karakurt, followed by a series of consecutive points. The home team, maintaining its dominance, won the first set 25–15 thanks to powerful attacks from Stysiak, taking a 1–0 lead.
The orange-and-whites started the second set effectively as well, widening the gap with points from Ebrar Karakurt. Increasing the difference to 12 points toward the end of the set, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit also scored with contributions from bench players and secured the set 25–14.
The third set began with attacks from the visiting team, but Eczacıbaşı Dynavit’s determined defense didn’t allow a comeback. Standing out with both attack and block points, the orange-and-whites gave their opponent no chance, taking the set 25–18 and the match 3–0.
With 18 points, national spiker Ebrar Karakurt became the top scorer of the match, while Magdalena Stysiak, with 15 points, played a key role in the victory. Overall, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit players recorded 6 block points and 8 service aces.
